Problem:
I believe that I've been on a personal journey of sustainability well before this class. Intellectually I think that I learned to put words to ideas I understood but didn't know how to define. The resource that resonated with me the most was The Lazy Person's Guide to Saving the World and that is because there are multiple things I already do that is listed in the resource. I use public transit to and from work and also for most everything else as well. As for what I can do for my community, I have been tossing around the idea to start a community garden somewhere on the property as there is a location that aren't being used and are just empty patches of grass. I believe that can help some of the people here that are living on a fixed income or are low income have access to fresh fruits and vegetables that are organically and locally grown.
