I am trying to help my little brother with his grammar, but I too am stuck on these two sentences. It wants you to draw a line between the complete subjuct and the complete predicate, and then circle the simple subjuct and the simple predicate. the two sentences are
1.) A blacksmith was important to the pioneer community.
2.) People called this metal worker a smithy.
