Problem based on the cold war

Problem: At the start of the Cold War when the US used its force against the Soviets, it was already apparent that there was an abundance of oil in the Middle East. The soviets stationed troops there and then removed them because there was suspicious that the Soviet Union would've taken over Iran. The Truman Doctrine was also initiated when Russia was trying to expand in Eastern Europe and that any country involved by the negative effects of communist expansion would receive aid. The goal was containment.
