What would be an appropriate response to this post? I would need an answer that is thoughtful and well-reasoned, and at least fifty words in length.
I do not enjoy writing. When I was an elementary student, I was home-schooled, and my mother was my teacher. I did not like to be taught by my mother. My pride got in the way when I was little. When I started going to high school, I realized how important basic English was and regretted not listening to my mother when I was little. I have gotten used to writing these past four or five years. My writing experience is from junior high school. Until then, I went to a Japanese private school. I still haven't gotten used to writing, but I have learned much from writing papers. I also have a part-time job teaching children, and I gain many things from teaching English to them. I don't have many strengths in writing. I am still learning how to write. The only skill that I could say is my strength is understanding two languages and being able to translate. Teaching English has made me understand English much better. I would like to understand English grammar better during this class. During this course, I would like to learn all the basics of writing. I have not gotten the basic of grammar and would like to remember it. Teaching English will be much easier and better. Also, it will be easier to write papers for classes.
I am a Christian. When I was in middle school, I was led by my pastor to Christ. I live with my mother only, and she had some hard times raising me. So my mother went to my pastor, who gently and slowly showed me the right way. When I was in high school, my grandfather, a missionary to Japan, baptized me. I was a home-school student until middle school. I went to a private high school in Japan when I was a freshman. When I became a junior, I went to an American high school. After high school, I went to one year of college in America. I am probably a freshman, and I haven't been able to return to America because of financial problems. I am taking it very slowly and probably slower than I should.
