Problem based on creating a partnership

Assignment Task: Robert Lane and Connie George decide to create a partnership. Each owns a dozen or so properties in the small town of Bowling Green, Ohio, and believes that by working together they will sell more properties. They agree that the partnership will be dissolved only when they have sold at least ten properties that they own jointly through the partnership. A year later, having not yet met this partnership objective, Connie tells Robert that she wants to end the partnership, as she has been offered a large sum of money for all of the properties that were formerly owned solely by her. In court, Robert claims that Connie's actions involve wrongfully dissolving their partnership agreement because their objective has not been met. The court rules in favor of Robert, opining that Connie has wrongfully dissolved their partnership.

But what if the facts of the case were different? Select each set of facts below that could change the outcome of the case. Check all that apply:

A. Rather than agreeing that the partnership be dissolved only after all properties are sold, Robert and Connie agree that after 9 months, either party can dissolve their partnership.

B. Robert was diagnosed insane a few months after he and Connie created their partnership. As such, Connie sought to dissolve their partnership.

C. The partnership agreement also stated that the partnership agreement could be dissolved 2 years after its commencement.

D. Eight properties had been sold when Connie decided to dissolve the partnership.
