Problem about workplace mental health program

Problem:

Give a student reply in 250 words to the following; two potential obstacles to implementing my proposed workplace mental health program are employee skepticism and lack of management buy-in. Employees may view the initiative as disingenuous or fear stigma, leading to low participation. To overcome this, I would initiate a phased rollout starting with anonymous surveys to tailor the program to employee needs, fostering a sense of ownership. Appointing and training peer "wellness champions" can also build trust and normalize participation (Grawitch & Ballard, 2016).

For management buy-in, leaders may question the return on investment (ROI). The strategy here is to present a data-driven business case, linking the program to key performance indicators like reduced absenteeism and lower turnover costs. A pilot program with a control group could provide concrete data on its effectiveness.

Reflecting on this, I would change my original plan to more strongly emphasize co-design with employees from the outset, rather than presenting a finished model. My presentation would also be modified to lead with the business case for leadership audiences, focusing on fiscal and productivity benefits before discussing programmatic details. This aligns implementation strategy with the practical concerns of key stakeholders (CIPD, 2021). Need Assignment Help?
