Ms. Robin appeared to campus for family session last Friday, the session went really well we played get to know me Jenga. Both Sophia and Robin were engaged, the game prompted both Sophia & Robin to engage in conversation about their interests, created scenarios for when things don't go as planned, discussing uncomfortable conversations, and setting limits. Sophia did really well with her responses and Ms. Robin assisted with prompting or getting information out of Sophia. They were able to naturally engage and interact with each other, during the session Ms. Robin described her parenting style as setting few rules and allowing Sophia to navigate situations independently as they arise. The way in which Robin described that she would respond to certain scenarios is more of a permissive parenting style, as we progress through home visits and overnight visits as well hopefully with her education classes and course she will adjust her parent styles to fit more with Sophia needs. Overall the session was great and informative as it provided Sophia with some insight to the type of upbringing that had residing with her family. Need Assignment Help?
