Problem:
In three sentences, discuss suggestions for modifying the idea, narrowing the topic, and/or improving the framework or RQs. Topic: Homeless Veterans: Why are there some many, when there are programs in place to end homelessness. The study will address that programs exist, but veterans may not be able to easily access them. The purpose of the study is to examine the homeless programs in place for barriers. The gap is that veterans may qualify for programs but face barriers like paperwork, waitlists, or stigma. RQ1: What barriers prevent homeless veterans from fully accessing existing housing and support programs? (Qualitative) RQ 2: Are the ways that the programs address the needs of veterans, such as mental health care, substance use treatment, or employment support effective? (Qualitative) RQ 3: What is the average length of time a veteran experiences homelessness before entering a program? (Quantitative) System Theory support my study, and the theory's principle of interconnectedness show how cross-systems collaboration is needed to promote stability and remove barriers that prolong homelessness (Fowler et al., 2019).
