Problem about chorioallantoic membrane of chicken egg

Question: A chicken egg has a membrane around it, called the chorioallantoic membrane, that is very similar to the cell membrane in function. If an egg is placed into a solution of sugar and water, water can move across the membrane, but sugar cannot. A chicken egg soaked in vinegar to remove the shell (but not the chorioallantoic membrane) is weighed and placed into a solution of sugar and water in which the concentration of water in the solution is lower than the concentration of water in the egg. Predict what will happen to the mass of the egg. That is, will the mass of the egg increase, decrease, or stay the same? Need Assignment Help?
