If Gordon could get West to change his way of management the five unique skills that he would suggest to the successful manager of the 21st century is as follows:

1. Invest in resources such as new technology to be more efficient in achieving goals of the company.

2. Prioritize what has to be done in order of importance.

3. Complete the goals of the company that have the most value.

4. Organizing the goals of the company and what needs to be done to achieve them successfully.

5. Focusing on the needs of the employees and bringing up morale so the turnover is decreased.

The workplace dynamics of a new organizations should be ones that are functional for the specific business. You don’t want to use an organizational structure that doesn’t fit the business. The flat organization are great for a smaller company giving individuals the authority to make decisions. This would be more difficult for a larger company as it can slow down production and be more time consuming.
