For your final research project, you will be preparing a comprehensive research essay on a Tourism or Hospitality current event/hot topic of your choice.
You must define this current event or industry trend completely. Research and evaluate how this topic/event/trend has come to be an influence on the industry.
Using real world examples, define how this trend or event is affecting the industry today. Include both positive and negative effects it may be having on the industry.
Include future implications and potential impacts on the industry for the short term and long term future. Include how this affects marketing strategies, service strategies, and actual and potential management strategies to deal with this topic.
