Write in 500 words.
• A clear argument/thesis dealing with the question posed. This does not mean simply restating the question, but laying out your own argument/thesis with regard to the question.
• The analysis should be well organized on both overall and the individual paragraph level.
• The analysis should incorporate materials from the readings or other materials in support of the argument.
• The sources should be clearly cited.
• The paper should be clearly written.
You should not need long quotes to prove your point as you only have 500 words, and long quotes will likely just eat up space. Instead, use either short quotes or paraphrase. Remember, whether short quotes, long quotes, or paraphrasing, please make sure to give the source of your evidence. For example, if you pulled information from this week's reading on London/Paris transport, you should after the quote/paraphrase just put the author and page in parentheses like (for example) this (Hall, 131).
The postwar period witnessed a massive expansion of the cities of Chicago, London, and Paris outward. What do the readings this week suggest about both the reasons for this expansion and realities created by said expansion?
