Proiblem: Organ Transplant Debate
You will be assigned a debate team. Each debate team will prepare for the debate using the Debate Procedure, and Debate Preparation Template documents found on the Sakai Course website under Resources. Each student will be graded based on the following criteria as well as their participation in judging/grading other debate teams. Each team will be required to turn in their debate preparation documents by 9:00am on the due date to Sakai Assignments.
The purpose of this assignment is to gain knowledge and perspective of this ethically challenging topic and to be able to articulate and defend that knowledge in a sound, convincing manner. It is important to remember that while strong opinions and emotions are common with this topic, focusing on opinions and emotions do not result in an effective debate.
