Problem: Prepare a original and age appropriate health education activity anything related to health, nutrition, or safety for young children in a childcare facility. Refer to examples in Chapters 11 and 19 of your text for your lesson-planning format.
Students will also provide a short evidence based rationale for the activity and how it would be integrated with curriculum.
Learning objectives must be specific, measurable (or observable) and achievable for the young children participating in the activity.
Activity creativity, organization, relationship to concepts, learning objectives, suitability to the age of the children and how evaluated will be considered in the grading of the project.
