The authors in [8] have suggested multiple electric engine technique. Two generators are connected with the engine, on the high pressure the starter engine is connected whereas the generator at the low pressure shaft. In aircrafts, control switches are used in EPD (Aircraft Electric Power Distribution) system to distribute the power from the generators to the sensors, loads and actuators using AC-DC Distribution buses. The optimization of EPD system is required to meet the new demands of power and load requirements in aircrafts. The author has presented the optimized solution for continuous connectivity, maximum reliability node failure and nominal cost in [9].
