You have country manager position openings in Japan and Germany. Jill Smith has been identified as the country manager eligible for assignment. She is married and has two children, ages 12 and 9.
You will prepare a total compensation package for Jill Smith for one of the two countries (your choice). You should use the information on these two countries presented in Chapter 16 (take into consideration difference in pay and cost of living in the country, cultural difference from that country and the US, The Japanese and German Traditional National Systems must be included) in your textbook and other outside sources to prepare the recommended total compensation package. Your recommendation must be supported by three references; one of the references must be a refereed journal article.
