Prepare a response to the questions below for each of the Spin Master Supplement Cases (B) and (C).
Spinmaster (B)-
1. Read the letters in the case (Exhibit 2 and Exhibit 3). Please summarize your impressions of:
a. Technical competency and capabilities of Wai Shing
b. Sense of urgency with respect to the timing and delivery of the E-Charge
2. Develop an argument for either staying with the current supplier or moving the product to Wai Lung. Make a recommendation of what Perez should do. Please identify the risks associated with your decision. (I would like you to be sure to discuss project timing and how it can impact the project you should be able to come up with at least 2 other factors that are relevant).
Spinmaster (C)-
3. Prepare a proposal for how you would deal with the supplier concerning the quality issues if you were the person in charge of buying this product. Please make sure you include how any financial impacts would be handled and what actions you expect the supplier to take, and what you are going to do with any material that is in the supply chain.
