The POI is Joe Herring and he lives at Unit 301/1025 Balaclava Road, Macquarie County. He also works at a video store at Shop 1 A, 1025 Balaclava Road, Macquarie County.
You are to prepare a pre-search warrant plan and set of Orders using SMEAC to execute a search warrant and carryout what is necessary to secure online or static evidence at both locations. This will result in deploying digital forensic staff under your supervision at the search warrant. If the POI is located though the warrants are to be executed simultaneously, provided the scene is secure, the digital forensics team can do them consecutively, hence using only one team.
Prepare an investigation plan, with a relevant operations orders for a cyber crime operation.
It is critical to understand the various aspects of cyber crime theory. This assessment will test the understanding of the relevant cyber crime theory and demonstrate understanding when putting it into practice, as demonstrated with the production of a pre-investigation plan and written orders (SMEAC).
