Problem: After a difficult marriage, pregnancy and delivery, Jackie observed her infant, Kelly, immediately being given the Apgar and then again five minutes later where she was only told Kelly scored a 5. About two days, Jackie saw Kelly being tested again, this time with what the nurse told her was the NBAS and that Kelly did well. Jackie is very confused, worried, and does not understand what either of these tests are about nor what they mean for her or Kelly.
