Predict how elementary school children

You are a nurse at a large hospital where a young woman recently gave birth to a child. The mother seems very disinterested in the baby and more concerned with resuming her social life. What would you predict to happen in late childhood to an infant who does not form a secure attachment to his or her primary caregiver? (15 pts.) What can be done to create a strong attachment between mother and child?

Predict how elementary school children are affected by parental divorce. (15 pts.) At which ages are children most affected? What temperament-type of child is most affected?

Suppose that Jerry is an adolescent with a very bad case of acne. There is medication for it, but it is VERY expensive and his family can't really afford it. Predict what Jerry's adolescent egocentrism, imaginary audience, personal fable, and illusion of invulnerability will be saying in this situation. (How is each one going to manifest in this situation? For illusion of invulnerabilty, assume that he has the medication, but for safety reasons, is only supposed to use it once a day, and at that level, he is not getting the results that he wants.)
