Post synaptic-pre-synaptic neurons

A particular neuron (A) is post-synaptic to two other neurons (B and C). One of pre-synaptic neurons (B) formed the synapse on cell A’s axon initial segment. Neuron C formed the synapse on one of A’s dendrites. Both B and C create EPSPs (excitatory postsynaptic potentials) of same magnitude in neuron A but one of such two pre-synaptic cells influences action potential generation by neuron A much more than other. Which neuron, B or C, has the greater consequence on neuron A? Discuss how this effect is generated in the neuron A and why one neuron has a greater consequence than the other.
