Overview/Scenario.
As a radiologic technologist, you must be able to use various post-processing functions on your images. You must understand what they are and how they change your image to use them appropriately. This assignment aims to research the various post-processing functions available and choose two you would use the most as a technologist.
Instructions:
Choose two (2) post-processing functions that you may use as a radiologic technologist. (Windowing and leveling are considered one function for this assignment, annotation, image flip, image inversion.)
For this assignment, write a 2-page paper that:
- Explains what post-processing is and why it is used.
- Explain the purpose of your two chosen functions.
- For each post-processing function you choose, give two examples of why you, as a technologist, might use this function.
- Provides two credible outside sources.
