Make use of the Internet to research the publicly traded company in United States which has undergone a merger or acquisition in the last three (3) years. Take note of circumstances surrounding the merger or acquisition.
Write down the four to six (4-6) page papers in which you:
Problem 1:
Observe the circumstances which resulted in merger or acquisition for selected company. Discuss on two (2) reasons why the resulting decision to merge or to acquire / be acquired was made.
Problem 2:
Measure the important positive or negative effects of merger or acquisition. Give at least two (2) illustrations of those consequences now that the merger or acquisition has been completed.
Problem 3:
Observe the organizational structure which has resulted from merger or acquisition. Examine the major differentiations between the resulting company and original two (2) organizations.
Problem 4:
Find out whether or not the human resources management practices of company were modified to reflect the outcome of merger or acquisition. If no changes were required, discuss on the reasons why they were not. Give a rationale for your response.
Problem 5:
Make use of at least four (4) academic quality resources in this assignment.
