On December 19th the chosen Electors for each state will cast their vote for President of the United States. It is at this point the the decision for President-Elect of the United States will be official. Below are two links; the first is to Federalist Paper #68 which explains the purpose of the Electoral College, the second is to Federalist Paper #10, explaining the danger of factions. The first is written by Alexander Hamilton and the second by James Madison, both Founding Fathers that helped to create the U.S. Constitution.

Please read the documents, and state in two to three sentences what you think the duty of the current Electoral College should be. In another words, if they adhere to the Electoral College purpose, how should they best vote in accordance with their prescribed duties.
