2. To prepare a bank reconciliation
3. To set-up a chart of accounts appropriate for a small business
4. To record accounting transactions
5. To prepare adjusting entries to recognize revenue in the proper accounting period and achieve a proper matching of costs and expenses with revenue
6. To prepare simple financial statements
