Outline for Final Project (*Unit Plan)
The activities throughout the course have been building toward the unit plan that represents the final project. The Week 4 assignment is a partial outline for the unit plan. See Outline under Writing Resources for an example of an outline format.
Your outline should address the following ten components of the *unit plan:
Standards and Goals to be addressed
Audience
Titles of three individual lesson plans
Materials
Time span (for each lesson and unit as a whole)
Activities
Assessments
Technology integration matrix for each lesson
Justification (motivation & purpose) for choices to include or exclude technology for different activities in the individual lessons and entire unit.
Other considerations like preparation time, access, management, and other planning or administrative factors
*Unit plans consist of a collection of lesson plans built around a specific topic or unifying concept. For example, several lesson plans covering the American Revolution.
