Planned six sigma project


Task:

I have been assigned as Lead Green Belt and Coordinator for a planned Six Sigma Project to look into the production of Management Reports and Presentations to accommodate emerging new requirements. In short looking at the report we current do within our company and evaluating the effectiveness of these reports!

- Are the reports providing the customer and user(s) with the information they need?
- Is there an easier, more efficient, or better way to prepare these reports?
- Is the data in the reports real time or current enough?
- Is there a way to make these reports more real time or current?
- Can the appearance of the reports be improved?

My situation is I am Green Belt Certified, however, I have not worked a Six Sigma project since 2002 and then I was a member of a 15 person team and not the lead. Our Black Belt has just recently resigned from the company. From talking with Program Managers I should be going ahead with implementation of this project my problem is what should I use to guide me or get me started in this process?
