Places where friction occurs
Locate the places on several mechanical devices where parts rub together. Roller skates, pulleys and the wheels of toys often required oil. Try to find two similar bearings that required oil, such as those on a roller skate. Oil one and compare the ease with which it turns with the bearing that has not been oiled.
