Pigments from Leaves & Absorption Spectrum (Separation of Pigments on Chromatography paper)
1. How did we obtain the leaf pigments for our testing (what process was used to separate them)? Why do plants have more than one kind of pigment in their leaves?
2. Do some research online and name another plant pigment that we did not test in class. Discuss the wavelength(s) it typically absorbs and what color is reflected. DO NOT USE SPINACH!
