In California, we have a system of government that allows California citizens to directly create and vote on laws. This form of direct democracy comes in the form of the California Proposition System. For this discussion board, pick a California proposition from any election cycle (either proposed, passed or rejected), explain what the proposition does (or would have done), if you agree or disagree with the proposition, and why you hold the position that you do.

Your response should include the following:
1. An answer to the question provided in a minimum of 10 quality sentences.
2. At least one piece of evidence to support your position. Evidence includes statements from respected sources, real life qualitative examples, or quantitative statistical data. This evidence can come from your required readings, outside newspaper articles, reports found online, etc.
3. A full citation of evidence used.
