Physicians must practice appropriate medical management: They must provide the correct services for their patients to get better, given their existing conditions. They must also be able to demonstrate medical necessity for the services they provide.
For this assignment, you will participate in a discussion about the applicability of medical necessity standards in mental health environments, and differentiate between medical management and medical necessity.
