Physical properties of methane and methanol


Methane which is composed of 1 carbon and 4 hydrogens, lacks functional groups and it is a gas a room temperature. Upon replacing one of the hydrogen atoms with a hydroxyl group, methane is converted to a liquid called methanol. Draw these 2 molecules.
