Phase angle between the current and the voltage

An ac generator has a frequency of 4.80 kHz and produces a current of 0.0400 A in a series circuit that contains only a 229-Ω resistor and a 0.250-µF capacitor

(a) Obtain the voltage of the generator.

(b) Obtain the phase angle between the current and the voltage across the resistor/capacitor combination.

An 92.4-mH inductor and a 5.92-µF capacitor are connected in series with a generator whose frequency is 376 Hz. The rms voltage across the capacitor is 2.28 V. Determine the rms voltage across the inductor.
