I was hoping someone could help me, I'm trying to study for my midterm for my Pharmacology class and my professor has asked us to go over the "reasons for an increase in the abuse of opioid analgesics and give measures that can be taken to counter this abuse". I was looking for a more in-depth explanation of what opioid analgesics are, and why people abuse them. Are they easily accessible?
