Part 1 - Your career dreams and your personal definition of career
A) What are your career dreams?
B) What do you hope to achieve in your life, both personally and professionally?
C) What does career mean to you? Write down and explain your own personal definition and compare this with the many different definitions at PPT number 6.
Part 2 - Your role model(s)
Look at a photograph of someone you consider to be a role model. (You may have more than one.) If you are comfortable to do so, please include the photograph(s) in your report, but in any case, please explain who your role model is, and what influence you think they have had on your career dreams.
Part 3 - Your career timeline
Building on the work, draw a career timeline for yourself, starting from your birth and stretching into the future. Mark what you feel to be important events in your life to date on your timeline and explain these. Explain any 'turning points' - moments in your life which have, for example, helped you come to a particular decision, or changed your life in some way.
