Clients Options
At this point, the clients' options are:
Part 1: Do nothing right now, pay no taxes on capital gains, and then at the end of year 5 (this year) either:
a. Pay back their family and friend lenders principal and interest
b. Offer their family and friends 25% ownership of the business
Part 2: Pay back their family and friends the principal and interest right now, pay no taxes on capital gains, and reject both the angel investor and competing company offers.
Part 3: Pay back family and friends principal and interest now, pay taxes on capital gains, and take the competitor's deal.
