Problem: This semester, I'm hoping to work with a broader range of patients, especially those with more complex conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and treatment-resistant depression. I'd also like more exposure to patients requiring medication adjustments, long-acting injectables, or polypharmacy management, since those scenarios are where clinical reasoning really gets tested. My goals for this clinical experience are to strengthen my diagnostic skills, become more confident in medication selection and patient education, and improve how I communicate treatment plans in a clear, patient-centered way. I also want to get better at recognizing subtle differences between similar conditions, like distinguishing depression from negative symptoms in schizophrenia.
