CASE:

Patient is an 11 year old female and is in due to strong dizzy feelings all the time and sometimes has shortness of breath. She feels weak and fatigue and hardly has an appetite. She has headaches and also pain in her stomach randomly. She states when she has a headache she also says she has bad ringing in her ear.

History:

1.5 years- seizures (4 times) unknown cause- took medications till 7 and has not had it again

Also had her tonsils removed

She came to the country a few months ago and was living in Saudi Arabia

PLAN:

Assessment/Plan:

Diagnosis (working): Dizziness, weakness, fatigue, poor appetite, headaches with tinnitus, abdominal pain, dysuria. Etiology unclear; rule out viral illness, anemia, thyroid dysfunction, UTI, or other metabolic causes.

Full blood panel (CBC, CMP, thyroid, iron, etc.) - completed.(everything was normal and within range)

Rapid flu, COVID-19, and strep swabs - completed. (negative)

Throat culture (negative)

Next step is to refer patient to ENT
