· Partnering with Hetrick-Martin Institute, New York City's Department of Education is one of the first educational organizations to open a high school created specifically for the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) population.
Additionally, the United Kingdom has an organization that advocates on the part of establishing LGBT schools.
