Assignment
This assignment challenges you to develop a proposal to bring about one change that will make it more likely that you will be able to live YOUR Ideal Old Age when YOUR time comes. You will be graded on how well you address each of the topics outlined below, your demonstrated familiarity with the relevant assigned material, your initiative in finding and citing other relevant materials about what is already being done to bring about this change, and how well you integrate these materials into a coherent proposal for change.
I. Describe one thing you would like to see changed between now and when you are old and how it would help make it more likely that you and others in your cohort will be able to lead YOUR ideal old age.
II. Discuss the type of change you propose: cultural, structural, policy, or business.
III. Identify the level of intervention that is necessary to bring about this change.
IV. Outline the steps that need to be taken to bring about this change through a social movement, policy change, or the development of a new product or service.
V. Gather and discuss any evidence that others are already working to bring about this change, locally or globally.
VI. Write your paper, including introductory and concluding paragraphs and at least one paragraph addressing the five above topics.
