a.Internal and External Recruitment Sources: Examine at least four internal and external recruitment sources. Provide a brief description of each recruitment source, identifying at least one strength and one weakness that an employer might face when using the resource for recruiting purposes.
b.Evaluation of Job Ads: Evaluate three job ads (i.e., Internet, newspaper, professional journals) using the four criteria introduced in the textbook to guide construction of job ads - AIDA (attention, interest, desire, action). Refer to page 165 in the course textbook. Include a copy of the job ads in the appendices section of the paper and/or include the web links.
c.Job Ad Appeal: Do any of the job ads appear to appeal to women, minorities, older workers, and single parents? How so? Why? If not, why do you think they do not?
d.HRIS Systems: How do HRIS systems help or hinder the recruitment process? First, answer the question from an employer's perspective. Second, answer the question from a prospective employee's perspective.
