Operating section of the statement of cash-flows


Under IFRS, the following is true of the operating section of the statement of cash flows:

A) If the direct method is used, then a separate reconciliation of income to cash flows must be provided. If the indirect method is used, then the reconciliation can begin with net income or operating income.

B) If the direct method is used, then a separate reconciliation of income to cash flows must be provided. If the indirect method is used, then the reconciliation must begin with net income.

C) If the direct method is used, a separate reconciliation of income to cash flows is not required. If the indirect method is used, then the reconciliation can begin with net income or operating income.
