Student responses may vary and must include a 200- to 300-word response on one of the listed basic physiological processes. Students must select one process between acquiring and processing nutrients, ridding of waste, reproduction, obtaining information about and responding to external environment, and movement. The response must include a description of how the basic physiological process chosen by the student differs for bacteria, grasshoppers, fish, and bear.
