Once you have built an ospf network consisting of 3 routers

This assignment reures a packet tracer model. Is that capable?

Assignment: Setup a Network

Introduction

This is a two part assignment in which you will first set up a network that will then be used to build access lists.

Instructions

Begin by building the following network according to the specifications below:

  • Use Cisco 2621 routers to build this network!
  • Connect 3 routers using their serial interfaces; RT1 serial 0/0 to RT2 serial 0/0, RT2 serial 0/1 to RT3 serial 0/0. Use the 192.168.0.0/24 network and subnet it to address the serial links between the routers. Start with the first available subnet and then the next available subnet.
  • On RT1's fa0/0 interface assign the 192.168.1.0/24 network, on RT1's fa0/1 interface assign the 192.168.2.0/24 network.
  • On RT2's fa0/0 interface assign the 192.168.3.0/24 network, on RT2's fa0/1 interface assign the 192.168.4.0/24 network.
  • On RT3's fa0/0 interface assign the 192.168.5.0/24 network, on RT3's fa0/1 interface assign the 192.168.6.0/24 network.
  • Configure OSPF in area 0 to route all networks between the 3 routers.

Once you have built an OSPF network consisting of 3 routers, you are ready to move on to the next part of this assignment. Perform static packet filtering using an access list to restrict access from the networks on RT1's fa0/1 interface to RT3's network connected to its fa0/0 interface. Create the access lists and place them in the most efficient place to accomplish this task.
