This is an individual assessment item. 

Once an opportunity has been found, a marketing mix is applied to take advantage of that opportunity. This is the essence of your marketing mix plan. Based upon your opportunity analysis, you are to develop a marketing mix and implementation and evaluation strategy for your target market. This 3000 word assessment piece, not including executive summary, marking rubric and appendicies. This assessment task will provide the final piece of the marketers puzzle and create a total marketing plan.   Using your opportunity analysis you are to develop a marketing mix for the selected brand and for which you conducted your opportunity analysis on in Assessment #2. 

Further details will be provided in the Assessment folder on Learning@GU.   Weekly course work (activities and forums) will help students progress the various sections of the plan. 

Your plan should use headings, be typed in Times New Roman 12 point font, use double-line spacing and have 25mm margins.  

This piece of assessment addresses Learning Outcomes 1-5. Graduate skills enhanced through this assessment items are effective written communication, problem solving, and creativity and innovation.

Criteria & Marking: 

A marking rubric is located in the assessment tab of the course site. The marking rubric will address specific areas founded within the marketing mix plan. These may include:

1. Executive summary

2. Target market and positioning

3. Marketing mix sections/4Ps

4. Evaluation and control

5. Implementation and schedule

6. Conclusions and recommendations

6. Presentation/references

Submission:

1. All assignments submitted for grading must be word processed. . You are expected to retain copies of all assessment items submitted until a final grade for the course has been awarded. Creating a backup of all your computer files is highly recommended.
