The task
Analyse a complete text from any genre (consisting of between 750 and 1000 words) according to its organization, cohesion and coherence. Consider what the reader brings to the text to successfully process it.
Include the text as an appendix of your essay.
Necessary Components
- Include a short introduction
- Analyze the discourse features of the texts, identifying grammatical and lexical devices, in addition to rhetorical moves.
- Discuss the text's coherence with reference to theoretical work on reader scripts, frames etc.
- Refer to the text throughout your analysis.
