Oil specific gravity 0752 flows through a 6 horizontal pipe

1.Water flows upward in a vertical 12" pipe at the rate of 7.85 cfs. At point A in the pipe the pressure is 30.5 psi. At B, 15 ft above A, the diameter is 24" and the lost head A to B equals 6 ft.

Determine the pressure at B in psig.

2.Oil (specific gravity 0.752) flows through a 6" horizontal pipe under a pressure of 60 psi. Assuming no losses, what is the flow in cfs if the pressure at a 3" diameter reduction is 20 psi?
