Often times couples may experience difficulty conceiving children. In addition, there may be an individual who wishes to have children without a spouse. In both of these cases, the option to go to a fertility doctor and undergo medical procedures to conceive a child is an option. However, the process may result in a large number of embryos resulting in either (a) an excessive amount of births or multiple pregnancies, or (b) the death of the remaining fertilized embryos, or (c) the donation of the embryos to research or to another couple.
