For this assignment, you have to create ypur own data which can fit in this model.
The objectives of the assignment are:
Use Matlab code to generate data and do the following:
First analysis that data (Full analysis include figures histogram,box-plot, scatterplot, etc. Then,
1. Using the bootstrap, to obtain improved estimates of the true population size at each.
2. To obtain the bootstrap estimate of the natural annual rate of increase in the population
3. To construct the confidence intervals for the bootstrap estimates obtained in 1 and 2 above at each of the time points, using the percentile confidence interval and standard confidence interval methods.
4. To compare the confidence interval results obtained from the percentile and the standard method.
5. To assess the coverage probability of the confidence intervals for the bootstrap estimates in 3 above using a simulation study.
6. To obtain the Jackknife estimates and standard errors.
7. To compare the traditional analysis the bootstrap method with the jackknife method.
