A block of mass 3 kg, tethered to a pivot, slides about a circular path having radius 80 cm on a horizontal surface. Its initial speed is 1.0 m/s, however after one revolution; the speed has reduced to 0.75 m/s, due to friction. Determine: (i) the coefficient of kinetic friction and (ii) the number of revolutions the block will build before stopping.
